GOD OF HOPE AND FUTURE | Jeremiah 29:11-13

SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

OBJECTIVES:

1.    To see the hands of God move in every areas of our lives in fulfilling His plan for us.

2.    To stir up hope within us especially in times of testing.

INTRODUCTION:

➢    Thanks God you are here!  You are the person God needs to speak to concerning His wonderful plan for you, concerning your future and your breakthrough.  Your future is bright in the Lord, no matter how you perceive it, no matter what you are going through.  Your problem will not stay long!  

➢    Tomorrow will be another day, so cheer up!  Everyday will not always be Friday or Saturdays, thanks God, there are Sundays or Mondays!  There is a beacon of light at the end of the tunnel. 

➢    Cheer up, God is the God of hope and future!  Your future is very bight!  His plan is to prosper you!

OUR MINISTRY EXPECTATIONS

➢    God has wonderful plans - individually, for you and me, and corporately as a church.  And we rest our hope in God for the future of this ministry.  We are confident LORIMI Ministry is bound for greatness!  That means, this ministry is going to expand tremendously in every aspects!   Multitudes of disciples and leaders and everything needed to serve the multitude - a 20K seating capacity auditorium in that 4 hectare donated lot in Culiat, and large church buildings for every Chapter in every city.

➢    Why are we so confident?  God's Word is our assurance.  Matthew 28:19-20 said it! “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

➢    The wonderful promise God has for us is that, He said, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  And when God is always with us, He is there to enable us fulfill His mandate, His vision.  He is there to provide us all that we need, individually and corporately.  He is there to cause our breakthroughs - to cause increase and prosperity in every aspect of your life and the ministry.

➢    The phrase, "and lo", is a connective phrase that relates the promise to the condition.  Remember every promise God has given to us is always dependent on us fulfilling the conditions. 

➢    As we are fulfilling the "Great Commission" or the World Conquest, winning people and making them Disciples, we can claim and invoke the promise in this scripture.  That is our confidence!  Let  us join hands together fulfilling the Lord's desire and see what He is doing!

YOU ARE PART OF THE GREAT PLAN.

➢    Since you are here, understand that you are part of that great plan of God!  Your presence here today is not by accident, God planned that you would be here today to become part of His great plan. 

➢    Understand that you were created for His purpose and glory.  Knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, loving and serving Him is a great privilege that only very few people are being called into. 

➢    You are in for the breakthrough of your lifetime!  To become a part of God's divine plan is the most privileged opportunity a man can have.  Congratulations! 

YOUR PART IN GOD'S DIVINE PLAN

1.    CONNECT TO GOD'S DIVINE PLAN.

➢    Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

➢    No matter how sophisticated an appliance is, it would not work until you connect it to the source of power.  No matter how wonderful God's plan is for you, but if you would not connect to His plan, you would not benefit from it. 

➢    How?  Become part of the Church that is doing God's Divine Plan!  Join our life transforming journey of Discipleship process.  If we do God's plan, He said, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."   It is difficult to pray when you are not sure if God would listen to you, but here, God plainly tells you and me, He has got a plan and a future for you, all you need to do is connect to His plan.

➢    Plant your life in this church.  People around you here have experienced great life transformation as they continued with this church, touching lives of people and helping them find their true purpose.

➢    Connect and stay connected in this Church and you will find belonging, security and significance!

1.    SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.

➢    Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

➢    God could be found.  That's His promise.  It's not that God was lost that we should find Him.  The reality is - we were the ones lost in our sins.  Our sins hide us from the presence of God.  But the moment we set our hearts to seek Him, God will do everything to reach out for us, then we would be found by God.  He is waiting for you to seek for Him because He will in no way overrule your choice.

➢    He reveals Himself to those who truly seek Him with all their hearts.  But we could not find the true God outside of God's word.  That is for sure!  He would speak to you through His Word written in the Bible!  God is faithful to all His promises in His written Word!  And He will prove His faithfulness to you.  Set your heart to seek Him.  Leave every thing behind that would separate you from God.  

CONCLUSION:

You need to breakthrough from your old life, connect to God's Divine Plan and He will give you a new beginning.
