LIFE: Buhay OFW

Most of the Filipino thought that OFW has a good life. That’s why most of the students’ ambition nowadays is to work abroad after completing their courses in college.

Who would not be encouraged when you see the pictures of OFWs on Facebook that always full of laughter, wearing fine clothes and going to very nice places?

Because of this, there’s so much misimpression about life in other countries because they believe that it is an innovative extension of paradise.

As the example shows in the Filipino film 'DUBAI' of Aga Muhlach, John Lloyd Cruz and Claudine Barretto, many Filipino shows their atheistic admiration for the beauty of the city. But it's not an indeed lifelike portrayal of the characters as an OFW in the UAE. Many show their appreciation and interest, but someone also regretted when they experienced the true life in the said country.

So because of the pictures seen on the social medias, the exaggerated stories of some of our countrymen and also because of hiding the truth of some OFWs in order to not to worry their loved ones, many falsehood come into the mind of someone else, especially here in the Middle East.
